An American Clothing Store has caused a bit of a stir with a photoshop fail in which the junior was poorly photo shopped with a 'thigh gap'.
My Question is why are we teaching the younger generation that it is nessary to have a thigh gap. Teenagers are going through scary extremes to achieve this goal and to fit into society.
you weren't born to fit in you were born to stand out.
In this case, the existence (or not) of said gap is due in large part to body type, skeletal structure and connective tissue length. The theory is that the bigger the thigh gap, the skinnier you are. False. The size of the “gap” is determined by the width of your hips and the shape of your pelvis.
Because those images that girls see in the media have a real impact on the way they feel about themselves; they compare themselves to the images they see of celebrities, and many girls said those images made them feel worse about their own appearances.
So ladies, we are going to start a trend of our own. This Is me, I don't necessarily have a thigh gap, I have an hour glass figure, I have curves, I am not skinny but I am not fat either There are some things about my body that are not perfect and I am 100% okay with that.
I challenge you to find a living and breathing human that doesn’t have blemishes on his or her face or who is perfectly toned and tan all year round.Everyone has insecurities. Look, we all have different body types.
