After getting on Twitter and reading everyone's responses to Miley Cyrus' new music video, I tried not to watch it in response. But, one person made a valid point that I think needs a discussion involved. That Miley had meaning behind the video. If she didn't want those comments she would have, "presented those emotions" in a different way. She's a pop star. Pop stars want to be talked about for whatever reason that maybe.
Just like childhood star and actress Amanda Bynes. After time out of the spotlight she took to the Twitter to express her views which left the public very confused -- but she still managed to gain a million followers just waiting to see her next move.
Lady Gaga has a lot of amazing hit singles but her outfits have turned a lot of heads. Did Lady Gaga really wear a dress made out of meat because she thought it looked nice or, was it because she knew it would be the most talked about thing from the red carpet?
One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne was once labelled "Daddy Directioner" for his father like figure over the other boys. This year we have see Liam transform into a tattooed, shaven hair, drinking and partying "Rebel". On a recent interview he spoke of how he was sick and tired of being called Daddy Directioner so he backlashed to prove that he isn't as innocent as everyone makes him out to be.
So do you think Miley Cyrus' new video would have racked up 40 million views in two days if people weren't offending or commenting negeatively on the intentions behind her video?
